Page Purpose

What is the purpose of these Player Communications Pages?
We understand this is an extra step to apping a canonmate. However, due to the need for a smooth transition to bringing in a canonmate, this step is necessary.

These two pages (this Main Page and the Spamming Page) serves two purposes:

1. To facilitate a way for players of incoming canonmates to communicate with the players of existing canonmates without having to individually track down each player. It is a requirement that someone wishing to bring in a canonmate to existing characters must contact those existing characters' players. Because incoming players need to know how their canonmate character will fit in with the existing characters' AUs, communication between players is necessary. But we mods recognize how difficult that can be. So, thus, this page.

2. To give players a space to work out their ideas for their character's Earth AU history and to form connections with existing characters.

So with that said, there are some rules:

✦ Read all rules and instructions carefully before posting/commenting.

✦ Existing players should track this page in order to receive notifications about a player's interest in bringing in a canonmate or workshopping their potential character's Earth AU.

✦ Absolutely no spamming this page! If players use this page for conversations, they will be asked to stop and all conversation comments will be deleted. The only thing that should be posted to this page is the "Interest Forms" (see below).

✦ Spamming and conversations should happen to everyone's heart's content on This Page.

✦ Players who do not respond to posts about potential existing canonmates are assumed to be okay with said canonmates coming into the game.

✦ Be excellent to each other - any BS will be addressed and not tolerated.

New Canonmate Permissions

All players planning to app a character with canonmates already in game must discuss their plans with the players of existing canonmates. If the character a player proposes to bring in has major canon connections with existing canonmates, incoming players need to get approval from those players.

CANONMATE INTEREST FORM

AU Workshop

All players may use these pages to workshop Earth AUs for their characters. Players are welcome to intermingle their Earth AUs with other characters provided the other characters' players are on board. This can work for canon characters or cross canon characters.

This is optional. A player can bring in a character without any Earth AU connections with other characters. A player with a character in game also doesn't have an obligation to participate.

But players who are looking to mingle their character's Earth AU can use the form below and post it in a new comment.
